behind the court

Our composition aims to stylize the contrast between individualized historic architecture and modern quantified creation of living space.

During the Streetmeet Festival we worked together with the artist „Kera” and designed three facades of a city block. While we set on a common color spectrum, the left facade was done by Kera, the right one by us and only the middle was a full collaboration. The base for our design was the view into the small garden and backyard of the organizer Manuela Wahler. Looking past the yard, one sees contorted historic buildings neighboring the city block that we painted on, so this unique architecture with its interesting shapes and lines found its way into our design. Our composition aims to stylize the contrast between individualized historic architecture and modern quantified creation of living space. These three walls, the complete mural and its surroundings, the city block and old town – all shape a unique viewpoint on two worlds colliding, on contrasts living together in close proximity.
