bosch diversity

Bosch wanted an animated short to demonstrate its in-house diversity. The main themes were equal rights, work culture, internationality and intergenerational exchange. The design for the diversity mascot was already set, so we adapted the world around this character. More than 5000 frames were hand-drawn and then printed out as 5000 sheets of Din A3 paper to create a massive flip-book. This stack of paper was than photographed pagewise to create the resulting hybrid animation. Some animation parts were deliberately left out, to leave room for on-camera interaction between the illustrator and his drawings.
