In 2016 Quintessenz was part of various exhibitions and festivals in Hamburg. Among others the annual Millentor gallery exhibition, where its acquisition of funds mostly are donated to the organization of Viva von Agua, which shows commitment for safe water supplies in third world countries. The installation itself has no political aspect, but displays a contrast of form and color to its enviroment. It repels itself – but then repeatedly rejoins. An interplay which creates a contrast that determines the object and yet appears someway random.
