In the fifth year of Quintessenz at the Urbanartfestival “IBUG” in Plauen, only half of Quintessenz was able to make physical appearance, creating a new take on our “analogue-digital” ethics. Photographs documented the surroundings and architectural specifics and were emailed to Thomas in Hannover. Constrained to this footage, he created a full color digital collage, which he then sent back in black and white to Tomislav in Plauen. This was the foundation for the mural allowing Quintessenz to closely work together as a team, challenging each other’s imagination during the process, while being hundreds of kilometers apart during the whole festival.
The second mural is a collaboration work with our beloved friend Skurdone.
